Your proof of service of service is promptly completed and returned to you or the court (if so instructed) as soon as the service has been completed.
Small Claims Service of Process
Small Claims Service of process must be performed according to the California Civil Code rules to ensure that the party receives notice of the court’s order, which in turn is a prerequisite to collecting your judgment through the court’s enforcement proceedings. Small Claims Courts have specific time frames required for service on the defendant before the Court issued hearing date and for the return of the Proof of Service to the Court. Meeting the deadlines for service of process and returning the proof-of-service to the court in a timely manner are paramount to having your small claims case heard.
We serve all Small Claims court documents in California:
- Plaintiff’s Claim and ORDER to go to Small Claims Court
- Order for Appearance and Examination & Judgment Debtor’s Statement of Assets
- Small Claims Subpoena & Declaration
- Defendants Claim and ORDER to go to Small Claims Court
